About Us

Therapy that’s grounded in science.
Guided by compassion.

At Kind Process, we offer evidence-based behavioral therapy. We’ll help you identify the root causes of your difficulties and support you in building a more meaningful, connected life—one that’s aligned with your personal values.

What to expect from therapy

We specialize in short-term cognitive and behavioral therapy designed to help you make meaningful progress in a focused timeframe.
Here’s how the process works:

✔️ 12 weekly sessions
✔️ Each session lasts 50 minutes
✔️ Together, we’ll set achievable goals and work on real-life behavior change

Is this the right place for me?

We want you to feel safe and supported. However, our therapy practice is not equipped to treat individuals who:

  • Are experiencing active suicidal thoughts or have recently attempted suicide

  • Are showing symptoms of psychosis (paranoia, hallucinations, hearing voices)

  • Are struggling with chronic eating disorders

  • Are dealing with substance addiction

  • Are under 18 years old (we do not currently offer therapy for children or adolescents)

If you're unsure whether our service is right for you, feel free to contact us—we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Our therapy approaches

Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP)

FAP centers on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. It helps you develop more fulfilling connections—by focusing on how you relate to others in real time during sessions.

Your therapist will respond with warmth and clarity, helping you shift patterns that no longer serve you, and encouraging actions rooted in your values.

This approach is especially helpful if you’re struggling with relationship difficulties or emotional disconnection.

FAP is built on three principles: awareness, courage, and therapeutic love.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected.

It teaches practical tools to:

  • Calm your mind and body

  • Recognize unhelpful thought patterns

  • Break the cycle of anxiety, low mood, anger, or self-sabotaging behavior

  • Make clearer decisions and feel more in control

CBT is ideal for anyone facing stress, anxiety, depression, or harmful habits.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a modern, empowering approach that supports personal growth and emotional resilience.

When we avoid or reject our pain, it often becomes more overwhelming. ACT teaches you to accept your emotions while committing to actions that bring you closer to what truly matters.

With ACT, you’ll learn:

  • Mindfulness tools to stay present even in difficult moments

  • How to clarify your values and use them as a compass to guide your daily life

  • How to respond to pain without letting it define you
